The Master Plan, adopted by the City of Raleigh, divides the park into six distinct landscapes, each with its own unique character and purpose. From scenic overlooks to active recreational spaces, these landscapes reflect the park’s commitment to diversity, accessibility, and innovation.
The vision started to take shape when the City of Raleigh purchased the 308-acre property now known as Dix Park from the State of North Carolina.
